Free call via GoogleTalk

No! This is not Google-to-Google - that would be computer-to-computer call. But this one is  Google to regular USA/Canada phones for FREE!!!.  And I just tested calling my cousin’s mobile phone in California. the quality is really good at 9:15am Philippine time. How about that?

But still,  there are ways how we can make use of this free link like …

1. For a simple one - call MagicJack users
2. If you’re in ME countries (where the phone rates are unthinkable & VoIP traffic is blocked), you might be able to call outside USA/Canada.
   How? By getting an Internet Phone Adaptor registered in USA/Canada.  Voice Providers has lots of access numbers in USA & Canada. The traffic flow would be:

   GoogleTalk  ->  Access#  ->  INTERNET -> Phone Adaptor
   (anywhere)    (USA/Canada)             (anywhere)

See! Free phone call is possible anywhere around the globe!  By the way, the phone adaptor is computer-less … perfect for old folks, plain housewife and to millions of non-techies. 

For sure, Gmail works in the ME countries but not GoogleTalk. Someone has to try this out. Could anyone try this out? Please post your findings here. Thanks for your help. Let’s hope this will work for the benefit of thousands of Filipinos in the Middle East! Cheers!
